District Campsite - Woolley Edge

As a district we are extremely lucky to have our own campsite. Woolley Edge campsite compromises of approximately 14 acres of land, 9 acres of woodland and 5 acres of grassland.
The campsite is suitable for all camps whether it is a small patrol camp or a large district camp. Woolley is great setting to learn backwoods skills and survival camps as the woodland provides everything for building shelters and fires.
The building can be booked as alternative wet weather accommodation, a pack holiday centre and is also suitable for Beaver Sleepovers.
The building has a large main room, 3 bunkrooms with beds for 20 (8 / 8 / 4) there is also a kitchen containing a 6 burner gas cooker, refrigerator, small freezer, hot water boiler, two sinks and all necessary cooking equipment also including cutlery and utensils.
A recent addition to the campsite is the extension of the building which incorporates a toilet and shower block primarily for the use of the campers on site.
The campsite team are continually working to improve the site to make your next visit even more enjoyable.
