Officially Network is a County Managed section. This is to say that unlike Explorers Network Provisions are run by the county and not by the District. This doesn't mean that we can't have a District based Network section - this is something that we are trying to establish at the moment. The Heavy Woollen District Network section at the moment is rather low in numbers as well as the activites that we run/are involved in.
As the 18 to 25 age group we ought to be out there doing something. Yes we may all be busy with other sections or commitments but I think we should still have some form of Network event - even if it is a County Led one!
I know that a lot of people's complaints regarding lack of communication from Network were true in the past but now things should change - as of the Network Forum we have two members of the Heavy Woollen District on the County Scout Network Committee - John Myers" and Chris Naylor. If you have anything you wish to bring up for Network then please contact one of the two so that suggestions can be passed onto the Network Committee.
